The Social Dilemma

This documentary brings attention to the many dangers of social networking on both children and adults, and reveals how technology conglomerates are abusing their power to manipulate and influence society to their liking. It’s a must see.

The goal of this campaign is to garner attention from unassuming potential watchers through the use of digital out-of-home campaign mediums and direct back to an interactive and shareable social media experience.

 

Digital Out-of-Home

This interactive, motion activated screen will be placed in front of populated seating and foot-traffic areas (like a shopping mall, bus stop bench, public park, etc. ) and reveal moving, floating emojis above the passerby’s head when they are in front of the screen. Emojis communicate emotion, and their use indicates “We know what you are feeling” - a major plot point in the documentary.

 

Social Media

This is how the Instagram Story creator will appear. When you tap the screen, a different form of emoji halo will appear. The ominous text at the bottom of the screen with the documentary logo connects the filter to the film and gets that user’s social circle curious and engaged.
